this place.

Fruits that taste like “old cheese soaked
in tobacco juice” follow bee-swarmed
sprays buried deep in the bush.

hell-bent on nectar like a baby for a
breast.

Love vines embrace anything with a
green pulse – nozzles guzzling into
xylem and phloem as if it was Life’s
blood itself.

jittery dog-nippy pinnacle rock so you'd
better boot up and walk smartly if'n you
wanna return home with two good ankles.
